Jesus And The Groupies - Insomnia - White LP

Insomnia is the fifth album by Jesus and The Groupies and emerged from a rather experimental phase for several reasons. The pandemic meant that nobody could be in the same room at the same time, so the idea that you could literally go anywhere with music became a kind of therapy. Old electronic effects, long forgotten by the masses, found a way back to life with Jesus and The Groupies, and it became a challenge to try to extract the best from the worst technology available. Imagine a place where Hip Hop meets garage punk and all kinds of loud, renegade music that some kid out there might find really cool. Old plastic keyboards, bought in thrift stores, meet a very old secondhand jazz drum kit with guitars that sound like they came straight out of an amplifier that was left outside on a rainy day and then thrown down the stairs, to top it all off.
